Frequently Asked Questions
Face ID is enabled by default if your device supports it. When you first open Secret Diary: Private Journal, it will ask for permission to use Face ID. You can manage this in Settings > Security.
Yes! With Premium, you can enable iCloud sync to access your journal on all your Apple devices. Go to Settings > Data > iCloud Sync to enable it.
Go to Settings > Data > Export Data. You can export as JSON (for backup), PDF (for a beautiful photo book), or export all photos. Premium users can also create encrypted backups.
If you have Face ID enabled, you can always unlock with Face ID. If you've only set a passcode and forgotten it, unfortunately there's no way to recover it due to our security design. We recommend keeping a secure backup of your passcode.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to your iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Secret Diary: Private Journal to cancel. Your data remains on your device or iCloud account, but Premium access is required to use the app after onboarding.
Yes. All your data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account. We never have access to your journal entries, photos, or any personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
