One line
Secret Diary is the diary only you can open: a free, private journal for iPhone, locked with Face ID, that can even hide behind a working calculator with Premium.
Short, about 70 words
Secret Diary: Private Journal is a private journal for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Every entry is locked behind Face ID, and the journal is free to use. Optional Premium adds Decoy Mode, which disguises the app as a working calculator, a notes screen or a weather screen. There are no ads, no tracking and no account: entries stay on the device, or in the writer's own private iCloud.
Long, about 230 words
Secret Diary: Private Journal is a calm, private place to write, built on one rule: your diary should open for you and no one else.
Each day gets a page with room for a photo, a mood, the weather and a few honest lines, with a daily writing prompt for the days the page feels blank. A mood calendar shows how the weeks really felt, and On This Day brings back what was written on the same date in earlier years. Premium adds voice notes, a dream journal, time capsules, mood insights and Year Wrapped, a private story of the writer's year.
Privacy is the point, not a setting. The app asks for Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode when it opens, and again after the Auto-Lock time the writer chooses, and Premium's Decoy Mode can disguise it as a working calculator that only a secret code gets past. There's no account and no server: entries stay on the device, or, with Premium, sync through the writer's own private iCloud. There are no ads and no analytics or tracking SDKs, and the App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected".
Secret Diary is made by DuttLabs, the independent studio of Dr. Shankar Dutt. It's free to download and the journal is free to use. Premium is optional and costs $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, each with a 7-day free trial, or $49.99 once for Lifetime.

About the developer
DuttLabs is the independent app studio of Dr. Shankar Dutt, based in Australia. Secret Diary is built on one rule: your diary should open for you and no one else.
That rule shapes the whole app. There's no account to create, so there's no password to leak, and there are no ads or analytics, so nothing watches how you write. Entries stay on the device or in the writer's own private iCloud, because DuttLabs doesn't run a server to keep them on.
